WordNet Management System

About WNMS

WordNet Management System (WNMS) is a web-based system developed for creating and sharing lexical databases based on WordNet 3.0. WNMS provides collaborative editing tools that allow contributors to create their own local WordNets simultaneously. The contributors can easily participate online to translate or cast a vote for the appropriate translation in their own languages. WNMS also provides Web Service API for connection among different local WordNets.

WNMS Architectures

To achieve the task, a variety of tools have been used to develop WNMS. These are the followings.

Sharing a connection among Asian WordNets

WNMS will make a connection of the distributedly eveloping WordNets to establish a network for the cross language WordNet. Web service API in WNMS will function as a connector among membership’s server. Each node in AWN network can work independently and can transfer the language data to the target node.
